An early edition, with chekerboard design and blue endpapers featuring blue fairies. Possibly first edition as priced at 2/6 and with list of books from Groundsel and Necklaces to A Little Picture Hymn Book. Book is in Near Fine condition, paper has browned very slightly, but completely unmarked. Dust jacket is complete, not price-clipped, but with wear at spine ends, and very slightly dirty at rear. Plates immaculate.
