Early edition. Not dated but inscription dated  August1915. Book was a presentation copy from the Wirral Girl Guides to newly born Heather Grace Baden-Powell, daughter of the founder of scouting. The book has been well-used, all plates are intact, but the Simple Simon illustration has been removed and stuck to the fep. Pages 71-74 loose, but laid in. Gilt intact, but wear to covers and spine.
